I’m writing to urge you in the strongest possible terms to vote NO on S.394, the deceitfully named GENIUS Act, and to oppose the equally dangerous CLARITY Act, H.R.3633. These bills are nothing more than a coordinated crypto industry con job—designed to legalize corruption, deregulate financial markets, and enrich Donald Trump and his billionaire allies at the expense of everyday Americans.
Let’s call this what it is: the biggest financial grift in a generation. The GENIUS Act was rammed through the Senate with virtually no safeguards, greenlighting the creation of so-called “stablecoins” without real consumer protections. It doesn’t modernize finance—it rewrites the rules to benefit crypto billionaires and hands Trump a personal financial windfall by legitimizing a private currency that bears his name.
Trump has already made $1.2 billion off crypto, and these bills are custom-built to multiply his profits while stripping investors of legal recourse and gutting federal regulatory power. This is corruption in plain sight—just wrapped in enough legalese to fool the public and confuse the press.
And while Americans are still trying to figure out what stablecoins are, House Republicans are lining up a second scam: the so-called CLARITY Act—rightly dubbed the CALAMITY Act by Rep. Maxine Waters. Far from clarifying anything, it creates regulatory loopholes, weakens enforcement, and threatens another FTX-style collapse that could devastate the economy and threaten national security.
Crypto super PACs have already spent over $265 million to buy influence in Washington. That money is now hard at work trying to rush these bills through the House before the public realizes what’s happening. The longer these bills are in the spotlight, the more people see them for what they are: a shameless power grab by the rich and connected.
Let me be clear: If you vote for S.394 or H.R.3633, you are siding with Trump, tech moguls, and Wall Street con artists over your constituents. You are voting to legalize a system designed to exploit confusion, dodge accountability, and make corruption permanent.
Stop this crypto corruption before it becomes law. Vote NO on the GENIUS Act and the CLARITY Act.
