the 25th Amendment ro be invoked without delay to deal with what she called his blatant unfitness for office. She argued that the amendment was designed precisely for moments like this: to safeguard the nation from a leader incapable of fulfilling the duties of the presidency. Waters emphasized that
"something is seriously and undeniably wrong with this president," pointing to his reckless behavior, erratic decision-making, and inability to put the country above his own ego. She warns that leaving him in power poses a direct danger to the United States and insisted that invoking the 25th Amendment is not just an option, but a constitutional obligation to protect democracy from a president who has proven he is unfit to lead.
You have seen this unfitness regularly. If you were in Congress on January 6th 2021, you know that your lives and our right to a free election were assaulted by his orders.
(Please explain me why Trump has troops in DC now but did not send them in promptly on 1/6/2021?)
