When do we use the word treason?
Per the Washington Post: "The US has fired a
coordinator tasked with collecting data on war crimes committed by Russia against Ukraine. The interagency working group headed by the coordinator has also been disbanded."
Trump imposed no tariffs on Russia.
Trump halted defensive US cyber operations against Russian cyber threats.
And now he is pushing a "peace deal" between Russia and Ukraine that would have Ukraine ceding its sovereign territory.
J.D. Vance said the US will walk away from mediating if Ukraine doesn't say yes-adding both Ukraine and Russia must
"compromise" on territory.
Let's be clear: Ukraine 'must' do exactly nothing.
Per Heather Cox Richardson:
"Th[e] U.S.-backed plan echoes almost entirely the plan Russian operatives presented to Trump’s 2016 campaign manager Paul Manafort in exchange for helping Trump win the White House. Russia had invaded Ukraine in 2014 and was looking for a way to grab the land it wanted without continuing to fight."
I have not even mentioned the shakedown in the Oval Office Trump accused Zelenskyy of ingratitude.
Ukraine has been a heroic defender of democracy. Russia is the aggressor.
Again and again we see Trump giving aid and succour to our foe, Russia, and threatening and betraying our allies. Giving aid and succour to a foe: what would be another name for that? Treason.
Congress can make this stop:
Take back tariff power, take back the usurped appropriation powers, condemn and censure Trump, Rubio, and Hegseth.
Impeachment is the remedy for high crimes and misdemeanours.
Impeach Trump now.
