Resistbot Petition: Oppose Harmful Deportation Policies
An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Oppose Harmful Deportation Policies

93 so far! Let’s get to 100 signers!

I am writing as your constituent to express my strong opposition to radical deportation policies that harm immigrant families, disrupt communities, and undermine the values of fairness and compassion that our nation was built upon. These policies do not make us safer but instead tear apart families, hurt our economy, and foster fear and division within our communities. Immigrants contribute immensely to our country through their labor, innovation, and culture, and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I urge you to take a stand against harmful immigration policies by: 1. Supporting legislation that protects undocumented individuals and their families, such as pathways to citizenship. 2. Advocating for humane immigration enforcement that prioritizes due process and avoids indiscriminate deportations. 3. Opposing funding for programs that enable mass deportations or the expansion of detention centers. Please remember that your actions on this issue directly impact the lives of millions, including children and families who seek only safety and opportunity in the United States. I look forward to seeing you take a leadership role in defending immigrant rights. Thank you for your time and attention to this critical issue. I hope you will take my concerns into account and fight for policies that reflect the best of who we are as a nation.
