There are many reasons that the big reconciliation bill is a moral abomination.
But there is one that should determine your vote. If it does not, you will be demonstrating shocking contempt for the very survival of those you should serve. -- I say: should serve because it appears that most GOP electeds care more about billionaires than their neighbors. Despite the fact that many publicly flaunt their connection to a faith that teaches love of neighbor as a duty.
Simply: this bill will remove access to health care from those who get kicked off Medicaid and Medicare.
Thousands will die.
Health infrastructure will collapse in rural underserved areas.
This is your choice: to cause deaths, suffering, and hospital closures.
To explode the deficit.
To pour money into the military.
While causing those you should be honored to serve to perish.
Is this the legacy you choose?
Is this how you want to be remembered in history?
Just consider if you are a Trumpist Christian how you will be judged for starving the hungry, immiserating the poor, persecuting the stranger and enriching the rich.
Vote NO on this evil bill.
