It’s time for vaccine mandates

The COVID-19 vaccines are safe and have been widely available for months so there’s no excuse for most people over the age of twelve to not be vaccinated. A number of cities in the US have issued vaccine mandates and those cities have seen dramatic rises in vaccine rates immediate after. I encourage you to immediately issue a vaccine mandate similar to the one in New York City that requires all city employees to be vaccinated and require vaccines for indoor activities. As Mayor DiBlasio said, “If you want to participate in our society fully, you’ve got to get vaccinated. It’s time.”
