The Trump-Doge cuts to USAID have been profoundly damaging to humans across the globe as well as to American soft power.

Impact projections have been updated based on recent reporting documenting varying levels of funding disruption across health programs.
If you are not inclined to support USAID for reasons of moral decency, you might consider the fact that treating contagious diseases such as hiv and tuberculosis abroad slows the development and global spread of new more lethal variants.
Cuts to USAID have also been ruinous to American farmers.
I am sure I do not need to remind you what a TINY fraction of the budget USAID is: USAID's budget: 2024 estimates around were $44 billion, or roughly 0.6% of the total budget.
Cuts to USAID are unconscionable from a moral and strategic point of view.
They are all the more wicked when they occur in a regime of unconstrained spending on marble toilets, new ballrooms and multimillion dollar Gatsby parties.
Please use all the tools at your disposal to investigate and publicise the harm that results from cutting USAID; do all you can to ensure USAID is fully restored and staffed.
Do oversight on potus extravagance.
Take back the recklessly ceded Congressional appropriations power. Condemn illegal impoundment and reduction in force. Impeach Trump.
