Look up Smoot Hawley. Understand that tariffs will harm domestic manufacturing and supply chains. Inform yourself about Canada's retaliation plans. Do not vote for tariffs.
Second: tax cuts for the super rich. Inform yourself; look at how the deficit sky rocketed under Trump and came down with Biden's policies. Note that Trump's tax cuts did not lead to reinvestment or new employment; they led to share buy-backs and corporate bonuses. With Bidenomics the US was world leader for post covid growth.
Trickle down economics has been universally discredited by economic scholarship. Please do not vote for tax cuts for the super rich. Base your votes on reason and facts not disproven partisan jackass manure.
Vaccines work. Talk to Mitch McConnell and Steve Cohen about polio. Do not support any policy which will reduce vaccination uptake.
Global warming is real and is an existential threat to human survival. Extreme weather and extreme fires are increasing. Do not vote for any measures which increase fossil fuel use.
I count on you to bring bring facts and reason and evidence-based solutions to your discussions and votes.
Finally, it is an abomination that Trump pardoned domestic terrorists who attacked the Capitol. Condemn those pardons.
You are in Congress to work for your constituents and support and defend the constitution not to kiss Trump's ass.
