Targeting one platform risks creating a precedent where governments can arbitrarily silence platforms they dislike, under the guise of security concerns. Such actions could have chilling effects on free speech and the free flow of information.
I urge you to oppose the proposed TikTok ban and instead support legislation that addresses privacy concerns in a fair and balanced way. Let’s work toward protecting both national security and the free speech rights of all Americans.
