Keep your oath to the constitution: reject EOs that overturn it. Stay in WHO
You took an oath to: support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic and swore that you would bear true faith and allegiance to the same. I write to ask you to uphold that oath now. It's incumbent on you as a member of Congress to uphold the constitutional order of our government including the principles of the separation of power, the absence of an established religion, and the separate and Co-equal powers of each branch. Your oath to support and defend the constitution requires you to oppose executive orders that overturn the constitution and that infringe laws passed by Congress. Can I count on you as my elected representative to support and defend the Constitution? I expect you are aware that Trump just issued an executive order for the US to withdraw from the WHO. I am sure you know that the U.S. first joined the WHO in 1948 through a joint resolution from Congress. Presidents may not leave without the "express approval" of Congress. Please do not grant such approval. In accord with your oath I am counting on you to object individually and collectively to illegal and unconstitutional orders from Trump. Please reply in writing to assure me that you will abide by your oath and ensure that the US remains in the WHO, and that you will speak out courageously to support and defend the constitution against all who attack it, even the president
