I am asking Senator Collins to learn some lessons and stop acting as if it's business as usual with Trump's nominees.
Did Senator fail to read the report on Matt Gaetz? Did she ever express surprise that such a person could even be considered a qualified nominee for AG - even before the ethics report came to light?
Senator, it is not your job to be a toady to an incoming felon and rapist who wants to dismantle the rule of law. Have you for forgotten your op Ed ofi August 2016?
Vote no on Hegseth, Gabbard, Patel, and RFK jr.
No one with even a reputation for half of what we know to be facts about Hegseth should be anywhere near federal office.
Remember: appointees should be people of outstanding integrity character probity and expertise. Hegseth has none of that.
Do not be an enabler of the dismantling of our democracy.
By the way, we the people did not elect Elon Musk. He is an oligarch. Don't normalise him.
Please reply in writing to explain how you regard your oath of office and your duty to the constitution and whether you think probity, integrity, expertise and good character are needed to cabinet and agency appointees.
