Protect trans people and oppose anti-trans legislation

The rise of anti-trans legislation across the country is gravely concerning. Trans and non binary individuals are at risk for worse mental health outcomes and are more likely to be targets of bullying and violent assault. Anti-trans bills that prevent trans and non-binary individuals from living in human full dignity, with the equity in rights as everyone else, does not afford protection to all. I urge you to oppose any anti-trans bills. These laws are bigoted and promote an ideology that trans and non-binary individuals are less than and have dangerous consequences.
