I am writing today to regarding the inexcusable treatment of Senator Padilla at Noem’s press conference on June 12, 2025. I am appalled at the threats and violence he experienced from the security services who are supposed to protect all government personnel.

Senator Padilla clearly identified himself multiple times, and was merely trying to ask a question of Noem. The physical attack by the security officers was an inexcusable overreaction. A full inquiry against those who tried to silence Senator Padilla must begin immediately and be conducted thoroughly. We must let the Trump regime know that the truth will be spoken clearly and loudly, despite their wishes to the contrary. Thank you for your time.
