Director Patel's cryptic social media post following the raid, stating "NO ONE is above the law... @FBI agents on mission," demonstrates a concerning lack of professionalism and suggests a personal agenda rather than impartial law enforcement. This raid appears to be politically motivated, targeting a former national security adviser who has been critical of the previous Trump regime.
The timing and nature of this action raise serious questions about the FBI's independence and integrity under Patel's leadership. It's worth noting that Bolton's memoir, "The Room Where It Happened," led to a government lawsuit over potential misuse of classified information. However, using the full force of the FBI to conduct a pre-dawn raid on a former official's home is an extreme and potentially unwarranted measure.
