The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights has reported extensive human rights violations and potential crimes against humanity committed by Israel in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. These grave transgressions underscore the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire, discontinuation of military aid to Israel, and reinstatement of funding for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) to support Palestinian refugees. Allowing this humanitarian crisis to escalate further is unconscionable. Swift action must be taken to uphold human rights, protect civilian lives, and pursue a just resolution to the conflict.
