Say No To Sending The Troops Into Mexico

Despite minimal public discussion on this crucial matter, we continue to see alarming signs that the Trump Administration will go forward with military strikes against the cartels in Mexico as promised - with or without the permission of the Mexican government. Sending in our troops and turning the War on Drugs into an actual war would be incredibly dangerous, risking quagmire, bloodshed and chaos on both sides of the border, and is unlikely to defeat the drug trade. I am deeply concerned about the unpredictable and lasting consequences of escalating conflict, and I urge you to commit to taking whatever steps are within your power to block these attacks and focus on real solutions to the substance abuse crisis.
