Fight Discriminatory Anti-Voting EO, Make 2026 elections fair

16 so far! Let’s get to 25 signers!

This executive order represents a dangerous overreach of presidential authority that threatens to disenfranchise millions of eligible voters. The Constitution gives Congress and the states the power to set rules for federal elections, not the president. Requiring documentary proof of citizenship like passports to vote is an unnecessary and discriminatory barrier that will make it harder for many Americans, especially marginalized communities, to exercise their fundamental right to vote. Study after study has shown that voter fraud is extremely rare, so these measures are a solution in search of a problem. They advance the false narrative of widespread voter fraud in order to justify voter suppression tactics. This order is undemocratic, likely unconstitutional, and a dangerous step towards authoritarianism that must be forcefully opposed through all available legal channels. Our right to vote and have our voices heard is sacred and cannot be infringed upon without robust justification, which is categorically lacking here. Preventing eligible citizens from voting undermines the very foundation of our democracy.
