Constituent’s demand: Humanitarian ceasefire now

Israel's invasion of Rafah and the ongoing assault on Gaza is inhumane and a flagrant violation of human rights. The closure of the Rafah border crossing has exacerbated the humanitarian crisis, denying aid and escape routes to civilians caught in the crossfire. International calls for a ceasefire have fallen on deaf ears. It is imperative that the US and other nations stop enabling Israel's aggression through funding and arms shipments. Funds should instead be redirected towards humanitarian aid and supporting UNRWA's efforts to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians. The escalating violence and collective punishment of Gaza's population must end immediately.
