Stop Manchin's "Energy Independence & Security Act" from going in the NDAA!

I'm deeply concerned about the Energy Independence and Security Act and any legislation that would fast-track fossil fuel projects and undermine the public's ability to give input on new energy projects. As your constituent, I’m writing to demand that you publicly oppose this dirty deal and do all you can to stop it from being attached to the NDAA or any other "must pass legislation. We need clean energy in our country. We simply cannot afford to invest more time and money into outdated oil and gas infrastructure. We need clean renewable energy to achieve real energy independence and security. Any national permitting reform should center, not silence, frontline communities and environmental justice, and should be developed through regular committee processes. Please stand up for your constituents by publicly opposing this dangerous legislation. Thanks.
