Trump and the GOP are overseeing a regime of contempt for human life, health, and well-being.
I am outraged and you should be too.
There have been at least 25 deaths in ICE custody this year-- the deadliest year for ICE in decades. Plus one person killed by ICE agents shooting.
Measles has now returned to the US after being virtually eradicated; there have been 3 confirmed deaths.

How many women have died because of the unavailability of necessary care after miscarriages since the roll-back of Roe?
How many people have been taken ill as a result of the cessation of food safety inspections for bacterial contamination?
The CDC recently made major cuts to a program that for decades has monitored foodborne illnesses through a partnership between federal agencies and state health departments, according to an expert who helped get the program established.
The current administration is creating a regime of contempt for human life, human well-being, and even the survival of humans as a species. Call it what it is: a regime of depraved heart murder.
I ask you to honor the constitutional promise of rights to life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Take back Congress's constitutional powers; do oversight on the illegal and/or preventable deaths I have mentioned. Please use all the tools available to prevent preventable death. Hold this administration accountable.
