Reject Attacks on Medicaid to Fund Billionaire Tax Cuts
The House Republican budget resolution, H.Con.Res.14, is a direct attack on essential programs like Medicaid that millions of Americans rely on for their health and well-being. This resolution proposes devastating cuts of $2 trillion to critical social safety net programs in order to fund $4.5 trillion in tax breaks for the wealthy and increase the debt by $4 trillion. These cuts put the lives and financial stability of our most vulnerable citizens at risk. I urge you to forcefully reject this resolution and any subsequent budget legislation that slashes funding for Medicaid or other life-saving programs. Congress must prioritize the needs of the American people over tax giveaways to the ultra-wealthy and large corporations. I implore you to stand up for your constituents and oppose any efforts to undermine the social safety net that so many depend on for their survival and well-being.
