You created a monster. ICE is shredding the constitution, violating habeas corpus, and now seeking to monitor and detain people for their beliefs.
ICE agents are allowed to use racial and ethnic profiling because of Bret Kavanaugh. They do not have to show warrants when they kidnap people. They do not identify themselves.
They use excessive force.
Now some 70,000 people are held in detention.
ICE has blocked members of Congress from performing their legal duty to inspect.
They have tazed pregnant women and assaulted bystanders. They have been caught lying about events.
More people have died in ICE detention than ever before.
ICE tactics look like the Nazis. They are not making America safe or great. They are not catching criminals they are stealing our neighbors and wrecking industries.
Remember that immigrants pay taxes. Now mega corps are making a profit by detaining ICE victims and those detainees are no longer contributing to the economy.
I am outraged by the injustice and brutality and lawless conduct of ICEA agents. Outraged. You should be too.
Congressional inaction has enabled this. You have funded ICE so that it's better resources than many nations militaries.
You have created a monster. You have enabled fascism. Your complicity is part of every cruel and unjust act, every act of brutality and terror, committed by ICE.
It's time for you to rein back ICE. Demand warrants. Forbid masks. Forbid bounties and trafficking. No more detaining innocent people. Most immigration issues are CIVIL not criminal offences.
You've allowed the USA to be infected by the terror and brutality of unregulated masked brutal thugs. You've allowed families to be torn apart, children separated from their parents and honest hard working people who showed up to their court hearings correctly to be kidnapped. For what? For fear, racism and corporate profit of the concentration camp operators.
Congress needs to stop this nightmare. Start by legislating some guardrails. Start with subpoenas and hearings. Fix this moral stain.
