Another American citizen has been murdered by Israeli settlers — and your silence is a disgrace.
On August 1st, Israeli settlers—protected by tear-gas-firing Israeli soldiers—stormed the town of Silwan near Ramallah and murdered Khamis Ayyad, a 40-year-old U.S. citizen, father of five, and long-time Chicago resident. This happened just three weeks after 20-year-old Palestinian-American Saifullah Musallet was beaten to death in Sinjil by settlers from the same illegal outpost.
In both cases, the perpetrators remain free. No investigation. No accountability. No protection for the rights and lives of U.S. citizens.
Your job is to protect Americans. Not just the ones with political clout. Not just the ones whose deaths are convenient to acknowledge. Ten U.S. citizens have been murdered by Israeli soldiers or settlers in just four years, and this government has failed to pursue justice in every single case.
Where is Secretary of State Marco Rubio? Where is Attorney General Pam Bondi? They rush to issue statements defending IDF supporters on college campuses, but when actual Americans are lynched by violent settler-colonists, they look away.
This is not just negligence—it is complicity.
Israeli officials, including Ministers Yariv Levin and Israel Katz, have openly praised settler rampages and called this moment an “opportunity” to assert “sovereignty” over illegally occupied Palestinian land. These murders are not random — they are a feature of Israeli policy, not a bug.
And we, the United States, are funding it.
We are arming Israeli settlers and soldiers with our tax dollars. We are shielding them diplomatically. We are rewarding them with billions in aid while they murder our fellow citizens.

• Call for an immediate and public Justice Department investigation into the murders of Khamis Ayyad and Saifullah Musallet
• Demand criminal prosecution and extradition of their Israeli killers, including any accomplices with dual U.S. citizenship
• Suspend all U.S. military aid to Israel until accountability is met
• Impose sanctions on Israeli officials who incite or support settler violence
• Protect the rights and lives of all Americans—not just the ones who support your political ambitions
Your failure to act sends one message: some American lives matter less than others. That is unacceptable.
If you cannot stand up for the rights of murdered Americans, then you have no business serving them.
