End Israeli occupation, protect Palestinian human rights now

110 so far! Let’s get to 250 signers!

Israeli forces have escalated violence in the occupied West Bank recently, resulting in the tragic killing of a 13-year-old Palestinian child, Ghassan Gharib Zahran, and injuries to several others, including three more children. This unacceptable violence, coupled with the expansion of illegal settlements and the demolition of Palestinian property and infrastructure, is causing immense suffering and human rights violations against the Palestinian people. It is imperative to take immediate action to address this dire situation. Further sanctions should be imposed on violent Israeli settlers who perpetrate attacks and vandalize Palestinian property with impunity. Additionally, providing military aid and funding to Israel enables the occupation forces to continue their oppressive policies and human rights abuses against Palestinians. Instead, that assistance should be halted, and funding should be reinstated for the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), which provides crucial humanitarian aid and essential services to Palestinian refugees. These measures are necessary to hold Israel accountable for its actions, protect Palestinian lives and rights, and promote a just and lasting resolution to the conflict based on international law and human rights principles. The escalating violence and injustice in the occupied territories cannot be allowed to continue unchecked. Decisive action is needed to uphold human rights, restore dignity, and pave the way for a peaceful future for all.
