We Will Not Be Complicit in Genocide — Sanction and Divest from Israel Now
Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz has just revealed a plan that lays bare the genocidal intent of Israel’s government: to concentrate every Palestinian in Gaza into a single displacement zone in Rafah and expel them across the border into Egypt. This is the use of a concentration camp and ethnic cleansing, broadcast openly to the world. Eighty-five percent of Gaza is now either militarized or under forced evacuation. That leaves just 15% of land for over 2 million Palestinians—most of whom have already been displaced multiple times. There is no safe zone. Palestinians are being purposely starved, newborns are dying without formula by design, and the last scraps of livable space are being targeted and annihilated. This is genocide. And every day you remain silent, every day you fund or excuse this violence, you are complicit. We refuse to be complicit with you. While you offer Israel weapons, cover, and political impunity, the rest of us are organizing. We are pressuring corporations like Maersk to divest from Israel, and we are succeeding. And we will pressure this government until it is forced to divest, to sanction, and to end every form of support for genocidal Israel. The tide is turning. The US public and the world sees this for what it is. And we are watching you. I demand that you: • Impose full sanctions on Israel • Enforce a full two-way trade embargo • End all arms sales, military aid, and intelligence cooperation • Guarantee unimpeded humanitarian access and shut down the GHF’s militarized “aid” distribution sites You have a legal obligation under the Genocide Convention and a moral duty to humanity to stop this. Act now—or be remembered as someone who enabled genocide.
