Such an alarming precedent could open the door to challenging other cornerstone civil rights laws as well. We cannot allow this to happen. I urge you to vehemently defend section 504 and take a firm stand against any attempts to erode the hard-won rights and liberties of disabled citizens. Preserving these legal safeguards is crucial for an equitable society that values the inherent worth of every individual.
