Making matters worse
Jim Murray in the Omaha World-Herald
The latest version of Trumpcare has gotten its score from the Congressional Budget Office, and surprise, the number of Americans who will lose health care coverage will increase again. Nebraska U.S. Sens. Deb Fischer and Ben Sasse may have gone to Washington to repeal and replace Obamacare, but President Donald Trump promised he would make health care better and cheaper. This will not happen under the bill brought forward by Mitch McConnell.
If they want to continue to represent people of Nebraska in Congress, these senators should do the things they said they would do. Either make Trumpcare a superior plan to Obamacare or admit they are not able to do the job they promised they would do.
You were sent to Washington to do a job. If they are not able to, admit it and let someone else try.
