Given the recent dismissal of the FBI director, its timing and circumstances, anything less than full bipartisan support for the appointment of an independent special investigation will surely be the sad end of my lifelong status as a conservative-leaning voter. If this blatant attempt to derail ongoing investigations into serious foreign meddling is not a serious matter for the right, I find myself no longer serious about voting for right-leaning representatives.
